Cut of the Month

Cuts of the Month:

Each month, a cutting pattern designated as Cut of the Month is published within the Angles newsletter. Skill level required varies each month and all members are encouraged to undertake the assignment. Cutting diagram submission is appreciated and the author is noted.

Discussion is held during our meetings to get feedback from the membership about cutting the stone. Positive feedback is given and any difficulties are openly discussed to assist the member in improving skills.

In addition, several other patterns are included in the newsletter for members to add to their own library, or to provide additional stones to cut.

Here are the cuts designated for 2011. July and December are "open" months allowing cutters to select any design of their choosing.
